Across the West Fife villages of Charlestown, Limekilns, Pattiesmuir, through positive effective collaboration, we seek and deliver nature conservation and restoration projects, offer inclusive volunteer and engagement opportunities for our community to take action for nature and work to make our villages more sustainable for the long term.
We believe collaboration achieves more than individual efforts, and our 7 conservation, restoration, and sustainability projects demonstrate this. Our voice is louder and our progress is faster, benefiting biodiversity faster because of collaborations with Buglife, Marine Conservation Society (MCS), Earthwatch, Surfers Against Sewage (SAS), Fife Climate Hub, Fife Community Garden Network, Scotland the Bread, Royal Horticultural Society, Coastal Communities Network (CCN), Ecology Centre, Restoration Forth, SEPA, Scottish Water, DM Crombie, Education Scotland, Plastic Free Fife/Scotland network, local Councillors, Fife Council, Learning for Sustainability (LFS) Fife, Limekilns Church, Limekilns Primary School, Scouts, Guides, and village businesses and groups.
Our projects engage all ages and demographics in our community, each led by a fully trained volunteer. We provide opportunities that help our community understand the link between people, nature, and climate, empowering them to address the biodiversity and climate emergency they hear about and not feel helpless anymore.
